Is Spinach A Monocot Or Dicot?

Spinach is considered to be a dicot because of the fact that it is a flowering plant with two cotyledons with a stem hat grows by deposit on the outside. A monocot would be a plant that only has one cotyledon. This particular plant has seeds in a closed ovary and is considered to be an “annual” plant, which means that it can be grown year round despite the season.

This plant is fairly easy to grow because of the fact that it is not very high maintenance at all. Spinach plants are grown all over the world in a variety of places, though they tend to do best in cooler more temperate environments.
