Fish is an important part of every healthy balanced diet, but pregnant women need to consider what they should and should not be eating until they deliver. Perch is one of the types of fish which does not typically contain a lot of mercury and is therefore okay for those women who are pregnant to consume no more than twice a week. The recommended maximum amount of perch that pregnant women should consume is around 12 ounces each week, so make sure that you stay within that amount and you should be okay.
