Is Butter High In Potassium?

Butter is fairly high in potassium, containing around 36 milligrams for every 100 grams. There are lots of other foods that have just as much if not more potassium and they are much better for you. The truth is that natural butter just isn’t that good for you overall because of all the saturated fat in it.

Because butter is essentially made up of animal fat, it isn’t the healthiest thing ever. A lot of people think it is okay to eat lots of butter because it has no trans-fat or carbs and while that may be true, it still has tons of saturated fat as well as sodium which you will want to look out for.
