How Far Apart Should Cucumbers Be Planted?

It is important to know how far apart you should plant your cucumber plants when you are growing them, because otherwise you might develop problems which could prevent them from developing any cucumbers at all.

Although it depends on the variety of cucumbers, typically you will find that six to eight inches apart is sufficient, though you can plant them even farther apart just to be certain.

A lot of people tend to plant their cucumbers about twelve to eighteen inches apart on hilly areas, just to ensure that there are no problems in the growing process which could adversely affect them.
