Does Lobster Have Iodine?

Lobster is a type of shellfish that does in fact have iodine in it, around 100 mcg per 100 grams which is not a terribly significant amount. Seafood and shellfish in general is a very good source of iodine which is important to your body because of the fact that it helps to regulate the metabolism.

Without enough iodine in your body, you could experience certain metabolic problems that can be rather serious. It is highly recommended that you take the time to look up which type of seafood in particular are a good source of iodine so you will be able to choose which ones to include in your daily diet.
