Do Birds Eat Blueberries?

Birds can in fact eat blueberries and there are certain types that eat them more than others. Catbirds, thrushes, and robins all enjoy eating blueberries and if you have any of them as pets, you will be able to give them blueberries every once in a while.

It is important to understand that blueberries are not what these birds mainly eat, so you will only want to give this type of fruit to them every once in a while at a special treat. You will also need to take into consideration that very small birds may have a hard time swallow and digesting normal-sized blueberries, so you may have to cut them into smaller pieces depending on the size of the bird.
