Do Bananas Increase Seratonin?

Bananas do contain a lot of tryptophan which in turn converts to serotonin in the brain.

While this fruit does also contain quite a few carbohydrates, it is also good for increasing serotonin levels which can result in a natural “high” of sorts. There are quite a few people who mix bananas in with other ingredients to make protein shakes which they drink in the morning instead of sugary cereals or pancakes covered in syrup which can be extremely unhealthy.

Bananas make a great post-workout snack for those who like to do cardiovascular exercises on a regular basis and need something to eat afterwards.
