Can Limes Be Frozen?

Although it is not recommended that you freeze limes or lemons, you can do that and there is a certain way you should go about freezing them. It will also be important to remember that you should not freeze your limes for more than a period of three months.

Those who decide to freeze them will first want to wash their limes thoroughly to get off any potential chemicals or pesticides, dry them, and then slice them evenly. You will then want to put them all on some sort of baking sheet until they are completely frozen. After that has been completed, you will want to put all of the limes into an airtight zip lock bag.
