It is actually a myth that any food can cause acne. There are some foods that promote good skin health such as avocado, though there are no foods that can actually cause or even worsen acne breakouts. Although it is true that there quite a few misconceptions about this, so far there is no scientific evidence to indicate that there is a certain type of food that can cause acne to form.
Those who do have acne though will definitely want to try eating more avocado because it is known for being good for the skin. Just in case it will also be important to avoid foods that have lots of oils in them as they may contribute to the clogging of the pores which is what causes acne to form on the skin in the first place.
