Are Raspberries Kosher?

When a food is referred to as kosher, that simply means that it is in accordance with the Jewish Kashrut laws and may be consumed. Contrary to popular belief, Jewish laws concerning kosher foods are observed all year round, not just during passover. However, there may be additional foods which are not kosher during passover.

So what about raspberries? Are raspberries kosher?

Yes, they are!

All fruits and vegetables are naturally kosher, according to the Jewish laws. However, any fruits or vegetables which have come in contact with bugs or insects may actually no longer be kosher.
