Are Peaches High In Sugar?

On average peaches have just over 41 grams of sugar for every 100 grams, which means that there is a fairly significant amount in them.

The difference between the sugar in peaches and the sugar in something like soda or candy is that the latter is added sugar, which is not good for you. The sugar that is found in peaches is natural and therefore not inherently harmful in any way.

There are certain peach fruit cups which have lots of added sugar, and if you are trying to watch your sugar intake, you will want to stick to natural peach slices.
