Are Limes Bad for Your Teeth?

Although limes are considered to be one of the more acidic fruits, they are not necessarily bad for your teeth unless they are consumed in very high amounts. The ascorbic acid in limes works to destroy the enamel on the teeth, but it does not take much of a toll on those who eat them in moderation and practice good dental hygiene.

When the enamel on our teeth starts to go, they become more susceptible to problems like rotting or even complete loss of certain teeth.

Certain people who already have problems with their teeth or even acid reflux should probably try to stay as far away from limes as possible because of how naturally acidic they are.
