Are Grapes A Citrus Fruit?

Citrus fruits are a group of fruits known for their sharp flavors, which comes from the high amounts of citric acid that they have. Citrus fruits also contains lots of flavonoids and limonoids, which adds to their flavors. Commonly known examples of citrus fruits include lemons, limes, and oranges.

But what about grapes? Are grapes citrus fruits?

No, they are not!

Grapes are a type of berry, which comes from an entirely different kind of plant than citrus fruits do. Although certain types of grapes can have a little of the “sharp” flavor associated with citrus fruits, no grapes are technically considered to be citrus fruits.
