Are Cucumbers Bad For Diabetics?

While it is true that cucumbers are a nutrient-dense food, they are also considered to be one of the starchier vegetables which are not ideal for diabetics, due to the fact that they contain so much natural sugar.

It is important for those with diabetes to limit their intake of certain foods, such as starchy vegetables like broccoli, asparagus, cabbage, eggplant, mushrooms, celery, tomatoes, and radish.

Diabetics have to control their blood sugar level in order to keep it properly stabilized and by consuming too much cucumber, it is possible that this level will start to fluctuate to an healthy degree.
