Are Cucumbers Acidic Or Alkaline?

Cucumbers are considered to be an alkaline vegetable because of the fact that their acidity level on the pH scale is so low. Some examples of acidic fruits and vegetables include oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits. All of these fruits have a high acid content and are therefore not considered to be alkaline.

Those who have problems with acid reflux should have no problems whatsoever eating cucumbers, due to the fact that contain little to no acid. This particular vegetable also has a lot to offer in the way of important vitamins and nutrients which are important for the body so it can function correctly.
