Are Cucumbers Bad For Acid Reflux?

Those who have a history of problems with acid reflux can feel free to eat as many cucumbers as they wish, as this particular vegetable is considered to be an “alkaline”. There are two different types of fruits and vegetables: acidic and alkaline.

Cucumbers fall more towards the alkaline side of the pH scale, simply because they have a very low acidic content. There are certain foods which people who have acid reflux will want to avoid as much as possible, including oranges, limes, and lemons. All of these fruits are considered to be acidic because of where they fall on the pH scale in terms of their overall acid content.
